Flood intelligence service warns: Prolonged rain predicted
While the small escalations, some of which occurred locally in the middle of the week, are subsiding for the time being, flooding is on the horizon again from Sunday onwards due to rising temperatures. On Monday, the snow line is expected to climb to around 2000 meters. In addition, prolonged rain is forecast in parts of the low mountain ranges and in the Alps, according to the HND's situation report on Thursday. (kam/dpa)
