Early Christmas presents were given to numerous associations and institutions in the Hohenpeißenberg town hall. A total of 9500 euros were distributed by the community foundation.

Hohenpeißenberg – Reinhold Socher already knows exactly where the 500 euros that the Friends of the Pilgrimage Church have received from the community foundation will go: A Marian fountain is to be integrated into an opening in the wall of the parish garden. It is to be framed by wooden benches and become a "place of contemplation to find silence", as the deputy chairman of the association enthused.

The two newly opened kindergartens in the municipality received the largest financial injection. 1000 euros went to the forest kindergarten. These are to flow into a canopy under which the children can play or eat when it rains. "This would not be possible without the subsidy," said director Gabriele Ehrl gratefully.

In the "Kinderhaus am Schächen" it is not yet clear how the 2500 euros of the community foundation will be spent. "We were really surprised by the amount," said director Nadine Miller, overwhelmed. It is expected that the money will gradually be invested in game materials.

"We want to support all clubs that work with young people"

"We want to support all associations that work with young people," said Hubert Assum of the Board of Trustees. "We are happy when young people have opportunities in the village to keep themselves occupied." The fact that there are quite a few of them was shown by the number of donations. Eleven times, 500 euros were spent.

The shooting club would like to buy small shooting jackets from it, because "the existing ones are too big for slim children," says shooting champion Gusti Kuhn. The Trachtenverein would also like to expand its collection of clothing. Because a traditional costume costs between 1500 and 2000 euros per child, the beginners are first offered something from the pool, as youth leader Michael Rasch said. The donation is to be used here.

MSC sports director Sixtus Britzger could imagine support for "a car or a set of tyres for the youngsters" in order to pass on the 500 euros received. In any case, the sum is to flow into youth work. The same applies to the Alpine Club, as Ludwig Eggersdorfer revealed. The chairman of the Hohenpeißenberg local group would like to purchase new climbing harnesses or safety material.

An excursion with the youth for team building is what Elisabeth Unsinn and Magdalena Schleich from the Knappschafts- und Trachtenkapelle have in mind. Carina Kuchler from TSV Gymnastics would also like to do such a thing with the children, perhaps for the "fireworks of gymnastics". The club divisions of table tennis, tennis and football also received 500 euros; as well as the rural youth and the Catholic Women's League.
