The piquetero leader and referent of the Polo Obrero Eduardo Belliboni confirmed for December 20 the first mobilization during the government of Javier Milei and assured that, despite the fact that he has not yet taken office, there is "disillusionment" among the voters of the libertarian.
"We have already set a plenary session that we did with more than 30 organizations and we are discussing with others, because we know that those who did nothing seem to have woken up," Belliboni said ironically when announcing the first march.
In the same vein, he insisted: "We have a planned mobilization on December 20 that called on all those who want to defend workers' rights."
Belliboni took aim at the CGT and called on it to "come out and defend the workers, something it did not do in the four years of Fernández and did not do much with Macri's."
In addition, he said that "many people who voted for Milei in the neighborhoods have a certain disillusionment now that he has not yet taken office."
"What did Milei say to the kid who voted for him in a poor neighborhood, that the 500 pesos they had to go out on Saturday night were going to be dollars... That's not going to happen, but that was the approach that many young people voted for," he said.
