He is said to have brutally beaten elderly ladies to death in their homes and terrified an entire region: A 32-year-old is on trial in Heilbronn. The verdict is due to be handed down on Friday.
Heilbronn - The verdict in the murder trial of dead senior citizens in Schwäbisch Hall is expected today, Friday. The prosecution is demanding a life sentence for the 32-year-old defendant and the determination of the particular gravity of the guilt. The defense had requested that the defendant be sentenced to no more than twelve years' imprisonment.
The man is said to have brutally beaten two elderly women in and near Schwäbisch Hall in December 2022 and January 2023, one of them with a hammer. According to the indictment, the man from Serbia gained access to the apartments of the senior citizens and attacked them suddenly. In addition, the man is said to have threatened and beaten a then 83-year-old man from the region at his front door. The case had caused a lot of fear in the region. Dpa
