Successful start to the second half of the Bayernliga season for the Erding Gladiators. ESC Dorfen, on the other hand, had to accept the feared defeat on Friday evening.

Erding/Dorfen – Last Sunday, the last preliminary round match took place, this Friday the second half of the season started – each time with the same opponent. The Erding Gladiators hosted ESC Buchloe at home and went into the game as favourites after a 7-2 away win. They also absolutely lived up to this role and played one-way hockey for 60 minutes. The unfortunate guests came under the wheels with 11:2 (4:1, 4:0, 3:1) goals - and were still well served.

Extraordinary: For the Gladiators, ten different players got on the scoresheet. Only newcomer Petr Pohl put the puck into the opponent's net twice, otherwise Tomas Plihal, Leon Abstreiter, Michael Franz, Elias Maier, Paul Wallek (he scored the 100th goal of the season for Erding), Philipp Michl, Max Forster, Simon Franz and Michael Trox scored.

ESC Dorfen, on the other hand, had a really big chunk to deal with with TEV Miesbach, against whom they had lost 3-6 last Friday.

The Ice Pirates put up a great fight against the reigning Bavarian runners-up and kept the game open for a long time. It was only in the final period that the Miesbach team scored a befitting 6:2 (1:0, 2:2, 3:0). For the Ice Pirates, Lynnden Pastachak had scored to make it 1-1 and Michal Popelka to make it 2-2 in the meantime.
