Israeli flags and chants: This is how they received Maya there, who returned home from captivity/use under section 27A
Released abductee Maya Shem, who returned to Israel after more than 50 days in Hamas captivity, posted on Instagram Saturday evening that her new tattoo shows the English inscription "We will dance again" alongside the date October 7, 2023. "That date I'll never forget," Mia wrote in the post. "The pain and fear, the terrible sights, the friends who will not return and those we must return. But we'll win, we'll dance!"

Mia was kidnapped from the party in Re'im, which was raided on October 7 by many terrorists. At the time of her abduction, her right hand was severely injured and she underwent surgery in the Gaza Strip. In the first days of the war, as part of the psychological terror campaign, Hamas released a video of her asking to return to Israel and showing treatments she underwent in her arm. A photo she posted on Instagram also shows her injury, with her hand still bandaged.
