The cosiest: La Ferme d'Hubert
The place. Perched opposite the Grandes-Rousses massif, the hotel run by fourth-generation Patricia Grelot-Collomb has undergone a real transformation over the past ten years and now includes three restaurants. After L'Espérance and Les Mas'Hauts, the youngest is doubling down. At lunch, there is a rooftop terrace for 120 people with a heated swimming pool and a view of the peaks. For dinner, a cosy room with 50 seats.
The plate. Simple and comforting at lunchtime (tapas, crozet gratins, meat and fish in the brazier), the menu unfolds the great game in the evening. In an Alpine spirit with products sourced from Oisans to Italy, the cuisine of Lucas Perez (ex-Il Centro, Piedmont) is not to be forgotten, such as this Arctic char from Charles Murgat cooked on the bone with its citrus juice, or this roasted porcini, pickled mushrooms, black garlic and infused broth...
