First announced for 2020, then 2022, it was finally on Saturday 9 December, after six years of work, that the T12 tram-train line was inaugurated, for official commissioning on Sunday. Linking the centre of Évry-Courcouronnes to Massy station over a 20.4 km route, the T12 serves sixteen stations through twelve municipalities in the Essonne department. Around 40,000 passengers are expected daily. And this Saturday, several hundred people came to test the line, proof of the anticipation and the enthusiasm it arouses. We boarded for a round trip.
