Around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, a car belonging to a car rental agency in Quimper and travelling in the direction of Chateaulin - Crozon abruptly left the D887 departmental road, hitting a tree at high speed. The vehicle immediately burst into flames and the driver and two passengers died, trapped in the flames. It was a local resident who alerted the authorities.
