The IDF announced today (Sunday) that from now on, the IDF website will update the figures of the wounded. The data will be updated once a day at 13:00, at the following link. Since the beginning of the war, 1,593 soldiers and commanders have been wounded, including 255 in serious condition; Currently, 40 wounded people are hospitalized in serious condition, 211 are in moderate condition and 165 are in light condition.
According to the IDF, about 600 wounded have been rescued by helicopter in Gaza since the beginning of the fighting, in about 300 cases of helicopter evacuation. The assault helicopter unit, Unit 669, doctors and paramedics take part in the rescue operations from the Gaza Strip. In the past week, the helicopter crews of the Rescue Helicopter Squadrons, Unit 669 fighters and doctors, as well as medical forces and paramedics on the ground, carried out about 60 evacuations of the wounded from the combat zone, while providing advanced and life-saving medical treatment.

The rescue operations are led by the assistance officers of the Air Force Cooperation Unit, who are responsible for the liaison between the ground and air forces.
