In Japan, a man has taken his love of dogs to the extreme. He pursues his passion anonymously. And only tells a few people about it.
Tokyo – Many dog lovers have a breed of dog to which they feel particularly attached. For some, this is the desired dog. For others, it's also a childhood pet that they have many fond memories of. Japanese YouTuber Toco expresses his love for his favorite dog breed a little differently. For just under $14,000, he had a lifelike border collie costume made by the Japan-based company Zeppet, which manufactures realistic full-body suits, among other things.
Man transforms into dog and fulfills a childhood dream
The company shows the finished costume on their website, along with many other goose suits they have created. Toco was very happy with the result, according to his review. He writes: "Her professional skills and efforts have made my dream come true. Thank you for your hard work!"

The review also sheds light on his motivation. "Ever since I was a child, I had a vague idea of becoming an animal. I wonder if it was a desire for transformation. To make this idea a reality, I decided to order a body suit in the shape of a real dog (collie)." Since then, he has regularly uploaded videos to his YouTube channel in which he appears as a dog.
Recently, Toco took a walk in public for the first time as a dog
The reason Toco doesn't show his face on his YouTube channel is because he wants to remain anonymous. His family and some friends know about his extraordinary hobby, as he told the British Mirror. Nevertheless, he is careful about who he confides in.

Fancy a voyage of discovery?
Until recently, he had also never been out in public in his costume. However, a few days ago, he took his first walk as a dog. He also captured this step and the reactions of humans and dogs to him in a short YouTube video.
Many users are amused or simply surprised in the comments under the video. But there is also positive feedback. For example, one user praised "Toco's dedication to realism." Another user wrote: "He wanted to be a dog and he did. As bizarre as it is, I have to give him credit for fulfilling his dream."
Meanwhile, for a real dog recently, a 64-kilometer journey did not end with the desired end. (sp)
