Javier Gerardo Milei trusted only one for the main decisions of his political life. The creation of his force, "Freedom Advances", the competition in the presidential election of this year 2023 and the definition of his next Government Cabinet were decided -in the last instance- between the libertarian economist and someone else: behind the battle-hardened liberal economist there is a person who is decisive for the phenomenon generated by this enemy of Keynesian ideas: is his sister Karina Milei.
Such is Karina's influence that Milei himself nicknames her "The Boss". The woman cultivates a low profile and since her brother jumped to the political foreground, she refuses to speak: she works for her older brother and refuses to let her voice be heard. She is the power in the shadows.

Karina Milei is a public relations professional and artist. She has been dedicated to art for 20 years, making sculptures and paintings. She has a postgraduate degree in events. And for more than ten years he has been working with Javier putting together his international and local conferences. Neither of them has children.
He handles everything that has to do with him, except for his academics. He always travels with Javier, to every place where he gave lectures and in all his political acts that led him to the Presidency of the Nation. "She is Javier's eyes and ears. It is the person who decides what activities they do, because they are the ones who know it best and know what they like and what they don't, what they feel comfortable or uncomfortable with. Their influence is so great that they managed to stop me from wearing the striped suits because of the plain ones I wore," says someone who knows them in the current electoral adventure.
In the campaign, he took care of even the smallest detail: nothing is done in Javier Milei's surroundings without the OK of the inflexible Karina. And so it will be in your Presidency.
When they were kids she was very outgoing, she performed at all the school parties, she was the mascot of all the soccer teams where Javier Milei played, who knew how to be a goalkeeper of Chacarita at the age of 18. Since then, he has maintained an excellent relationship with all of his friends and his team. At the time, Javier was the introvert, he even hated photos.

The siblings grew up in Villa Devoto, with a father who was a collector and a mother who was a housewife. And they went to a classic school in the neighborhood: the Cardenal Copello Institute, where they attended primary and secondary school.
When Javier Milei left football, he formed a Stone band, called Everest. where I played Mick Jagger. There, too, his sister accompanied him. As in his passion for Boca, which the economist later abandoned.
Milei says that he has a star in the Museum of the Boquense Passion. But he stopped going to the court "the day Palermo withdrew because I couldn't get over that shock. I'm a fan, I've never seen someone with an instinct for the goal like him in my life," he told TyC Sports.
But the turning point of his love for colors came years later. "When (Daniel) Angelici brought Riquelme back, in the last period, I argued that it was going to be a failure, so I stopped being from Boca because he brought him in a populist act," he says about the return of the current vice president of Boca Juniors.
But another factor that caused his heartbreak for Boca was the return of Fernando Gago, also in 2013. "For me he is a terrible soccer player, one of the great lies of Argentine soccer and that's when I became anti-Boca," he said. And he acknowledged that, in the final of the 2018 Copa Libertadores, "when Boca and River played the final in Madrid I was at my sister's house, who is still from Boca, and when Gago came on I told him: 'From now on I start to cheer for River'. In fact, the second goal, which is absolutely Gago's responsibility, I shouted," says Milei, recalling Juan Fernando Quintero's goal.
Karina Milei accompanied her brother to all the campaign activities that had to do with television. Once, he couldn't get away from the shrewd journalists, as when it was a debate of Buenos Aires candidates that was held on the TN news channel. Upon entering, accompanied by legislative candidate Ramiro Marra (now left out of the new power), she could not help but speak to the cameras. Thanks to the expertise of journalist Mario Massaccesi, his voice became publicly known: "We have worked hard, we listen to the people, we live what happens to the people. It's easier for us to interpret it, because that's what happens to us."
And when it came to defining her brother, she said: "He is very diligent and listens," she said, showing that he listens to her and follows her in her statements.
But the exact definition of what Karina represents for Javier was given in an interview with the A24 channel: Milei became emotional and broke down, while using a biblical reference to refer to her: "Moses was a great leader, but he was not good at disseminating. And then God sent Aaron to divulge. Well, Kari is Moses and I am the one who divulges, nothing more. I'm just a communicator."
Today, with Javier Gerardo as the new President, Karina is in power. This will be the case for the next four years.
