A week of blood and fire in the GBA
In recent days, violent insecurity events have been repeated in the province of Buenos Aires.
First it was Uma, the 9-year-old girl who died after being shot when they tried to steal her parents' car in
Lomas de Zamora
.
Then it was María Lucrecia, who could not unbuckle her seat belt and was shot and killed in Castelar.
This Saturday it was the turn of Maximiliano Rojas (27), who died with a bullet in the chest for resisting the theft of his motorcycle in Monte Chingolo, Lanús district.
Three fatalities in six days, and a common scenario: the streets of the Buenos Aires suburbs.
A network of diverse realities where insecurity has ruled for a long time and life seems to be worth less and less.
And beyond the setting, the circumstances and the outcome common to the three events, an invisible thread unites them: in none of the three cases did the murderers manage to take anything.
They executed their victims and escaped empty-handed.
