Around 90 minutes after Princess Kate's surgery news, a statement from Buckingham Palace was released.

It informed the public that King Charles III.

needs treatment for an enlarged prostate.

“He will be hospitalized next week for corrective surgery,” the statement said.

And even though Kensington Palace has now confirmed, according to

The Mirror

, that Kate is not suffering from cancer, no other details about her health have been leaked so far - thanks to a royal diversionary tactic?

“By passing on personal information, Charles' message made it clear that there are no real details about Kate's condition,” analyzes historian and royal expert Tessa Dunlop (50) in an interview with

The Mirror

.

King Charles stands protectively in front of daughter-in-law Kate

"The protective king might as well have said, 'Here you have some information about me, but keep your prying eyes away from my daughter-in-law.'

When you read the statements side by side, it is a strong example of well-coordinated PR,” said Tessa Dunlop.

It was easier for King Charles, as a kind of “father of the nation,” to make these details public.

He also gave “the public something to think about”.

“But for Kate, a woman in the prime of her life whose identity has long been tied to her can-do attitude and impressive body, abdominal surgery is a different matter,” Dunlop says.

In Prince William (41), Princess Kate has a strong shoulder to lean on after the operation during this difficult time - he also canceled all appointments until Easter.
