On Monday afternoon, a sauna caught fire in a Tölz sanatorium.
The fire brigade was quickly on the scene and had to intervene with breathing apparatus.
Bad Tölz - The Tölz fire department went to a sanatorium on Buchener Strasse on Monday afternoon.
A sauna there caught fire.
As the operations manager of the Tölz fire department reports, the dehumidifier probably caught fire.
The basement and ground floor were pretty full of smoke when the fire department arrived.
Respirators went into the basement to put out the fire.
Everyone had previously been evacuated from the building.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but the house then had to be ventilated.
The police estimate the damage at around 50,000 euros.
Nobody got hurt.
