Highlights: Jorge Rial responded to a false account by Victoria Villarruel, and the vice-president replied with irony: "Tears of left-handed people". The journalist believed that it was the official profile of the president of the Senate. Rial, for his part, decided not to remove his message published in response to a "fake" account. D.D. D. D’Ambrosio: Rial has long identified himself with political positions typical of Kirchnerism.

The journalist believed that it was the official profile of the president of the Senate and responded to a tweet about the Omnibus Law.

While in Congress it is decided whether the omnibus law promoted by the Government of Javier Milei obtains half a sanction in the Chamber of Deputies, the political effervescence fuels the debate on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

And sometimes it gives rise to confusion.

A few days ago it happened to President Javier Milei, who with an extensive message came out to the intersection of an account that had the name and photo of Axel Kicillof, but which was actually false.

Now, the one who "stepped on the stick" was the journalist and host

Jorge Rial

, who has long identified himself with political positions typical of Kirchnerism and hosts programs on C5N and Radio 10, two media outlets with a profile opposed to the current ruling party.

Rial responded to a message from the @VickyViIlarruel account, thinking that it was the true account of the Vice President of the Nation,

Victoria Villarruel

, when in reality the name of the account is "Vicky Villarruel - FANS" and in the description it is reads "Argentina. I study Law. Patriot. Termo by @vickyvillarruel."

#ApproveTheBasesLawNOW or they will be remembered as those who stood on the wrong side of history in order to take care of their privileges.

They no longer have excuses, the entire tax chapter has been eliminated.

Clearly a fake account.

But the journalist did not notice it in time and responded to a tweet that said: "#ApproveTheBasesYA or they will be remembered as those who got on the wrong side of history in order to take care of their privileges. They no longer have excuses, the entire chapter was deleted fiscal".

The photos of Nicolás Massot, Miguel Pichetto, Rodrigo de Loredo and Maximiliano Ferraro illustrated the tweet.

The message was published on Friday, but Rial reached him almost a day later and replied.

"Scaring (sic) people. Like since 1976,"

he wrote, relating the year of the last coup d'état to Villarruel, daughter of an Army soldier.

Hello!

It is not my account.

I kept participating 👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/LIxoh6eSMg

An hour later, and this time from the vice president's real account, the response came, not without humor.

And with a photo, to make the journalist more evident.

"Hello! It's not my account.

I continued participating

," Villarruel wrote, adding a "thumbs up" emoji, and added a photo of himself being intervened.

An image that circulated widely weeks ago after his time at the Jesús María Festival - which included a controversy with the musician Peteco Carabajal -, where he appears sipping the bulb of a great mate.

Only that on the mate now you can read

"tears of left-handers"

.

The vice president's tweet quickly garnered more than a thousand responses and 26,000 "likes."

Rial, for his part, decided not to remove his message published in response to a "fake" account.
