As the fire department reports, Landwehrstrasse was partially flooded.
The mass of water also flooded an underground car park and adjacent basement rooms via an exit.
According to the emergency services, the water there was knee-deep.
It quickly became clear to the emergency services that the pump they were carrying would not be enough to deal with the situation.
