The passage at Gröbenzell train station and Gröbenbachstrasse should be made safer.
Gröbenzell – Gröbenzell is getting two new footpaths and cycle paths.
One is on Kirchenstrasse, the other on Gröbenbachstrasse.
Church Street
The path is already designed.
The green areas provided for in the development plan are to be created in the spring, and the passage between Kirchenstrasse or Hermann-Löns-Strasse and Frühlingstrasse will become a pedestrian and cycle path.
The fact that this area along Kirchenstrasse 2 to 4 is developed in this way is a declared goal of the integrated urban development concept (ISEK).
This measure is financially supported by the government of Upper Bavaria.
The corresponding development plan came into force on April 17, 2013.
The agreed property assignments have been made and corresponding purchase contracts for the partial areas are in place, the administration announced.
After the construction projects on these private properties in the area in front of the former “Witch” have been completed, the reorganization of the areas has now been completed in terms of land register law and approved by the local council on Thursday.
It should be more comfortable for cyclists and pedestrians along Kirchenstrasse 2 to 4.

According to building authority manager Markus Groß, this implementation of the Bavarian Roads and Highways Act should be implemented “over the course of the year”.
“I hope that happens relatively soon, because delivery traffic is increasingly using this route as a shortcut,” said Walter Voit (Greens), consultant for transport, energy and climate protection, to the Tagblatt.
Of course, you have to make sure that access for the fire department's emergency vehicles is still guaranteed, but a good solution can certainly be found with bollards or flower pots and appropriate signage.
Axel von Walter (SPD) explained that this was also in the interest of the pediatrician based there - the doctor had made it clear to him his concerns about his patients who were there.
Gröbenbachstrasse
Something is also happening in the narrow Gröbenbachstrasse in terms of footpaths and cycle paths: it is around 100 meters south to the train station.
“The development has been in place for a long time as a spur with a turning hammer branching off from Gröbenbachstrasse,” explains the administration.
According to the urban development agreement dated July 31, 2013, the street land was transferred free of charge and the legally necessary formal dedication process is now being carried out.

And it could happen quickly: the administration assumes that the work will be completed during the year.
