The wait is over: After Heinz Hoenig was practically permanently banned from the jungle camp, he is allowed to take the test on day eleven - and is doing bravely, as RTL shows in advance.
Murwillumbah - Things are slowly but surely approaching the decisive days in the jungle camp: Sarah Kern (55) and Anya Elsner (20) were recently eliminated in the fight for the jungle crown, and now it seems as if Heinz Hoenig (72) is the next shaky candidate .
However, on day eleven (January 29th), the actor is allowed to prove himself again - and actually take part in a test, after he had previously been banned from day one.
After the jungle camp ban: fellow campers send Heinz Hoenig for testing
Heinz Hoenig's permanent ban in the jungle camp quickly caused dissatisfaction among RTL viewers.
They had hoped that, theoretically, they would be able to select all participants from “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” into the jungle test.
Since the telephone selection process is now underway, the candidates now have to decide for themselves which competitors should fight for the stars that provide food every day.
On day eleven, the jungle camp participants send Fabio Knez (30), Mike Heiter (31) and Heinz Hoenig, who was admitted for the first time, to a test called “Icebreaker”, in which all sorts of disgusting things are apparently served in ice cream form.
This is shown by an RTL preview on Instagram, in which you can also see that the 72-year-old is highly motivated: “I'll take a shot,” he shouts happily and orders the unappetizing exam food.

The 72-year-old then follows up his words with actions.
In the clip you can also see Heinz Hoenig making an ice cream sundae decorated with insects and a red sauce.
The “Das Boot” actor seems to have bravely put the disgusting food test behind him – if the first impression isn’t misleading…
The prospect of finally seeing Heinz Hoenig in the exam later in the evening is well received by many RTL viewers.
They are enthusiastic about the team composition: “We wanted to see the three of them together” or “The dynamic trio – that can only be good and successful,” says the comments on the social media post.
While the fighting continues valiantly in the Australian bush, for some others the dream of victory is already over.
As has now become known, Sarah Kern blames the production for her exit from the jungle camp.
