Ottobeuren - On Saturday evening (January 27, 2024) there was an operation by the Memmingen police station in Ottobeuren (Lower Allgäu district), which developed from a suspicious report to the arrest of two people due to violations of the Narcotics Act.
The message was about a person with cuts on their hand and that an ambulance was needed.
The caller did not want to provide any further information or names.
The incident was reported to the police by the integrated control center.
When the police arrived, it was discovered that the injuries had not been sustained on site, but two streets away.
Here the officers became aware of several people who were apparently consuming narcotics in an apartment.
After people blocked the door, tried to escape and hid narcotics, large amounts of narcotics, several knives and a firearm were ultimately found on a teenager and a 43-year-old.

At the request of the Memmingen public prosecutor's office, an arrest warrant was applied for against the 43-year-old, which was executed by the judge in the evening.
The teenager was released after police action.
