Exactly six months after a Mexican tourist was the victim of gang rape on the Champ-de-Mars, a new tragedy of the same nature has marred the capital less than six months before the 2024 Games and an exceptional influx visitors to the capital.
It was a little after 8:30 p.m., Saturday January 27, when the police officers from the 17th arrondissement went to Boulevard Bessières, not far from the Porte de Saint-Ouen metro stop.
On site, a tourist of American origin, in a state of shock, accompanied by witnesses, allegedly declared to the police that she had been the victim of rape, we learned from a source close to the case.
The woman, who came to Paris especially for Fashion Week, reportedly described her nightmarish night to the police in tears.
Raped then left by the side of the road
According to our information, during an evening organized at the “Four Seasons” hotel, located on Avenue Pereire (17th arrondissement), a man suggested that she consume drugs, which she accepted, according to her account.
Shortly after, the individual in question, with one of his friends, took the victim to another house which the latter was unable to locate, according to a police source.
It was in this accommodation that the two attackers allegedly raped the tourist.
Then, they allegedly put their victim in a car and finally forced her out of the vehicle at Boulevard Bessières before leaving the scene.
The victim was then transported to Hôtel-Dieu hospital to undergo medical examinations.
Still according to our information, the Public Prosecutor's Office has been informed of the situation and the 1st district of the judicial police is responsible for the investigations.
The individuals involved are still being sought.
