Princess Kate, wife of the heir to the British crown William, has left the London hospital where she had been hospitalized since January 16 for abdominal surgery, Kensington Palace announced on Monday.
“The Princess of Wales returned to her home in Windsor (west London) to continue her convalescence after her operation.
She is making good progress,” the palace statement said.
The Princess of Wales, very popular in the United Kingdom, had been treated since January 16 at the London Clinic.
The pathology from which she suffers has not been revealed.
The wife of Crown Prince William will probably not resume her public activities before the end of March, the princely couple's services had already warned.
This hospitalization of the princess occurred at the same time as the treatment of King Charles III, who had recently undergone prostate surgery.
The 75-year-old king arrived Friday morning, with his wife, at the London Clinic, a private clinic located in the upscale Marylebone district, where Elizabeth II's husband Prince Philip, but also the American president John F. Kennedy and the actress Elizabeth Taylor.
