The 38-year-old woman who lost her life yesterday after a fall in the mountains of the Modena Apennines was a rally champion.
The victim was named Giulia Maroni, Italian Cross-Country Rally 2021 champion. She had also participated in the Dakar.
Many colleagues and enthusiasts greet her on Facebook, including the 4x4 Magazine newspaper: "The week opens, unfortunately, with very bad news: an accident in the mountains took Giulia Maroni away - she writes on the social network - Passionate sports enthusiast and off-roader, well-known in the off-road world, journalist and photographer, she had also collaborated with our magazine.
