How many scandals does it take to lose AfD membership?
Daniel Halemba may have had one too many.
The state arbitration court is said to have now applied for the party to be excluded.
Würzburg – The controversial Bavarian AfD member of the state parliament Daniel Halemba could now lose his party membership.
The AfD Bavaria's regional arbitration court has apparently opened proceedings for the expulsion from the party and the revocation of Halemba's membership rights.
This emerges from research by
t-online
on Monday (January 29th).
However, it is not about incitement, but about alleged violations of the statutes of the Alternative for Germany (AfD).
Party exclusion demanded: This is what the state arbitration court of the AfD Bayern accuses Daniel Halemba of
Essentially there are three allegations against Halemba.
Firstly, the AfD MP is said to have committed registration fraud.
Specifically, as AfD district chairman in Würzburg, he signed the admission papers of new party members.
However, two of the new members did not live in Würzburg, which is why they would have had to join another district association.
Months after the incidents, the city of Würzburg discovered the two violations of the Federal Registration Act.
Secondly, the politician obtained false affidavits in order to harm an internal party critic.
To do this, he teamed up with a budding lawyer friend who was, among other things, a member of the Junge Alternative.
Halemba is also accused of having contact with the right-wing extremist small party “III.
“way” to have had.
This is on the AfD's incompatibility list.
A request from

from
IPPEN.MEDIA
to the AfD Bavaria to confirm the events initially remained unanswered.
“We will discuss the topic in our board meeting,” said AfD Bavaria state chief Stephan Protschka to
t-online
.
According to the medium, the documents relating to the case signed by the state arbitration court and the responsible judge were available.
Halemba case: Public prosecutor's office investigates sedition
The possible exclusion from the party is just another chapter in the Halemba case.
The Würzburg public prosecutor's office is already investigating the AfD MP for incitement to hatred.
Among other things, a search found a guest book from the student association Teutonia Prague in Würzburg, which was observed by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, with the inscription “Sieg Heil” and Halemba's name.
The politician himself denies the allegations of having written the letter.
According to his argument, his name was above, not below, the lettering.
According to the Würzburg public prosecutor's office, a printout of an SS order from SS chief Heinrich Himmler from October 1939 was also discovered in the room occupied by the 22-year-old.
Halemba was temporarily arrested at the end of October, but the arrest warrant was recently revoked.
The AfD federal leadership demanded expulsion from the party - but Halemba continued to retain his well-paid mandate
After the scandal became known, the AfD MP gave up his party positions, but according to the parliamentary group leadership, the politician did not want to resign his well-paid mandate despite a request from the party base to do so.
At the AfD state party conference in Greding in mid-January, 57 percent of voters were in favor of such a resignation.

The AfD federal leadership also called for Halemba's expulsion from the party.
The members of the state parliamentary group in Bavaria still stand behind the 22-year-old, according to the motto “One for all, all for one,” said AfD parliamentary group leader Katrin Ebner-Steiner.
Last Wednesday (January 24th), the government factions of the CSU and Free Voters, together with the opposition from the Greens and SPD, united against the AfD in the Bavarian state parliament.
According to the AfD's own statements, the emergency motion is intended to counter targeted attacks by the AfD on the democratic order of the Free State of Bavaria and its constitutional bodies.
