The left-wing opposition in the departmental council is throwing a spanner in the works.
In a joint press release dated January 24, the group of the Republican, Communist and Ecologist Left (GRS) and the Socialist, Republican and Ecologist group are taking heavy shots at a decision taken by the departmental council of Seine-et-Marne on …last December 21, during the budget vote.

At issue: the approximately 2 million euros allocated for the financing of two private establishments under contract, "in particular 1.8 million euros for the Saint-Colomban project in Serris, a partner college of the École Stanislas in Paris", indicates the press release signed by the two group presidents, Anthony Gratacos (GRS) and Smaïl Djebara (PS), who express their “deep concern” and their “firm opposition.
