Following MK Tali Gottlieb's serious publications, Prof. Shakma Bresler's lawyers today (Monday) appealed to the head of the Investigations and Intelligence Division at the police and to the legal adviser to the government demanding that they immediately order the opening of an investigation against the Knesset member for a series of serious offenses.

In the application, sent by lawyers Idan Seger and Ohad Rosen, a series of offenses that MK Gottlieb is suspected of having committed are detailed, including aiding the enemy in war, revealing confidential information in violation of the General Security Service Law, defeatist propaganda, abuse of official power, breach of trust and defamation.

The lawyers also update that in the coming days a civil lawsuit will be filed against the member of the Knesset as well as against a prominent group of people who shared the dubious content.
It is important to mention that Knesset member Gottlieb does not have substantial immunity for the blatant lies and conspiracy theories that she systematically and deliberately spread to the general public.

To recall, Gottlieb shared rumors that Shakma Bressler's husband talked to Sinwar.
On Friday last week, Bresler approached Gottlieb through her attorneys, attorneys Idan Seger and Ohad Rosen, demanding that she announce that she waives her claim to parliamentary immunity "for spreading lies and conspiracies during wartime, which constitute a serious harm to the security of the state," according to her.
