A snowboarder is stuck in a gondola at a ski resort for hours.
Her friends report the vacationer missing.
South Lake Tahoe – It was supposed to be a fun winter vacation in the USA.
But a traveler shouldn't forget the night of Friday (January 26th) so quickly.
The snowboarder was stuck in a gondola for 15 hours - in freezing temperatures.

The young woman spent her vacation in the Heavenly Mountain Resort ski resort in the US state of California.
After a tiring day on the slopes, she decided not to go down the mountain and instead take the gondola.

reported, she got into the gondola around 5 p.m. on Thursday (January 25).

But a little later the lift stopped and the holidaymaker was stuck in the gondola.
“I screamed desperately until I lost my voice,” she told the station – every time she saw a staff member from above.
But no one heard the young woman.
She didn't have any other option.
Since she didn't have her cell phone with her, she couldn't call for help.

The temperatures around the freshwater lake Lake Tahoe fall well below freezing at night.
The icy temperatures must have been quite difficult for the snowboarder.
Meanwhile, her friends reported her missing to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.
However, in a gondola accident in Obertraun, Upper Austria, numerous skiers had to be rappelled down.
However, she was only found when the ski lift started moving on Friday morning and the holidaymaker was able to get out.
She was found around 8:30 a.m., was responsive and refused transport to the hospital, a spokeswoman for the fire department told the station.
“I don’t know how something like this could happen,” she said.
“That must have been really terrible for her.”

The authorities are now investigating how the woman ended up stuck in the gondola.
“The safety and well-being of our guests is our top priority at Heavenly Mountain Resort.
We are investigating this situation with the utmost seriousness,” said the ski area operator.

Things were particularly dramatic in Austria when a gondola crashed during the ride.
