After more than 20 years in the district council, Kathrin Sonnenholzner (SPD) has now resigned from her mandate due to time constraints.
There was a gift basket to say goodbye – and a few humorous words.
As chairwoman of the executive board of the AWO federal association, Sonnenholzner is very busy.
So she came to her last district council meeting a little late, her replacement was already in her seat.
“The CSU offered me a seat,” said Sonnenholzner.
To add: “It’s not that far yet.”
Sonnenholzner said in her short farewell speech that she would continue to follow what was happening in the district council with interest and criticism.
What is currently particularly important to her is that the silent majority stands up against the right, she explained, referring to the numerous demonstrations in various cities.
Maybe it will be possible to fill these demos with more content.
With the stroller
District Administrator Thomas Karmasin thanked the SPD politician and doctor for her commitment to the district council and especially to the district clinic, where she sat on the administrative board for a long time.
Karmasin presented small gifts - everyone agreed that they would meet again.
Because both of them don't live very far from each other in the western district, Sonnenholzner jokingly invited the district administrator to stop by with his stroller - a small allusion to the fact that Karmasin and his wife will soon be parents.
After the personnel castling, an old friend is now back in the district council: Margit Quell from Mammendorf is now once again a member of the SPD parliamentary group.
The budget was also approved at the same meeting.
It became clear that the costs of the general renovation of the high school in Olching are exploding.
