No contact ban for suspected stabbers before a homicide

Based on the criminal complaint, the police also contacted the youth welfare office and the school administration.

However, there was no court-ordered ban on contact.

However, the private school has taken appropriate measures to limit contact during school operations.

The main goal is for the two ex-partners not to meet if possible.

Recently it seemed like things had calmed down.

A terrible mistake!

“There is simply no such thing as 100 percent security,” says communications expert Dirk Metz, appointed by the municipality.

Meanwhile, an attempt to come to terms with the situation begins at the Löwenrot High School.

However, headmaster Dirk Lutschewitz emphasizes that he is seriously affected: “Since yesterday, nothing has been the same as before.” Normality in the school community is currently out of the question.

The road back to normality is long.

A funeral service is planned - but so far without a date.

In any case, the school psychology service is in action.

In addition, the students should be able to talk about the events in groups.

Victim (18) and alleged perpetrator (18) temporarily a couple in 2023

According to previous findings, the perpetrator and victim were temporarily in a relationship in 2023 - but no longer at the time of the crime.

As far as the suspicion of intentional bodily harm was concerned at the end of November 2023, according to current knowledge, the young woman had not obtained a court order against her ex-boyfriend.

However, on the occasion of the criminal complaint being filed, the police, in addition to questioning witnesses and the accused, carried out so-called threats a few days after the incident and again in mid-December 2023.

The police also contacted the youth welfare office and the school management.

According to initial findings, the school took measures to limit contact during school operations.

The investigations by the Heidelberg public prosecutor's office and the specialist department of the Heidelberg Criminal Police Directorate, in particular into the specific course of the crime and the background to the crime, are ongoing.

These will probably also extend to traffic offenses committed while on the run.

The public prosecutor's office wants to obtain an arrest warrant - presumably on suspicion of murder.

The victim's ex-boyfriend, who was injured in a car accident during his daring escape to Lower Saxony, will be there in person.

.: The shock after the bloody act at the Löwenrot High School in St. Leon-Rot (Baden-Württemberg) with a dead woman is still deep.

Student (18) stabbed in St. Leon-Rot: Is the public prosecutor putting the suspect (18) in custody today?

As a classmate at the private school explained, the victim was the ex-girlfriend of the alleged stabber.

The investigators also assume that it was a relationship act, a spokesman for the Mannheim police headquarters told HEIDELBERG24.

However, the authority did not provide any details.

Both of them graduated from high school this year, as

spiegel.de

reports.

The accused is said to have apologized during class by saying that he wasn't doing well.

Under this pretext he then looked for his ex-girlfriend and stabbed her in the neck with the knife.

All attempts to resuscitate the seriously injured woman failed.

But could the drama have been prevented?

The alleged perpetrator is said to have already beaten the current victim in the past - so the teenager only filed a criminal complaint for physical violence against the current accused in November 2023, as

merkur.de

reports.
