King Charles has successfully undergone prostate surgery.
He was now allowed to leave the clinic.
Update from January 29th, 6:00 p.m.:

(75) seems to have survived his prostate operation well.
As the British broadcaster BBC reported on Monday afternoon, the monarch has already left the hospital.
Kensington Palace said: "The King was released from hospital this afternoon following scheduled medical treatment and has postponed his next public appearances to recover privately."

The 75-year-old also thanked the medical staff in this way and was also impressed by “all the friendly messages he has received in the last few days,” the palace said.
Several photos captured the moment in which Charles left the clinic alongside his wife Camilla (76) and showed a lively, lively king who greeted everyone in a friendly manner and was then chauffeured away in a black car.

The fact that Charles stayed in The London Clinc for three nights instead of two as planned was probably purely precautionary.
Queen Camilla had previously announced that her husband had “come through well” the planned corrective surgery for an enlarged prostate.
She accompanied Charles to the hospital around 9 a.m. on Friday, visited him for three hours on Saturday and was even spotted on the way to the hospital three times on Sunday,

On Sunday evening she was photographed in the back seat of her black Audi as the car drove away from the clinic at around 7pm.
The fact that Camilla smiled was seen by many as a good sign.
When she was brought in, Camilla only drove back after staying for six hours.
It can be assumed that both the Queen and the King first paid a visit to Princess Kate, who has to stay for 14 days in the same London Clinic, which is considered one of the largest private hospitals in England, after her abdominal surgery.

A palace spokesman announced shortly after Charles arrived at the hospital, where he had been flown by helicopter from Norfolk to London the day before: “The King was admitted to a London hospital this morning for planned treatment.
His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their well wishes to him over the past week and is pleased to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness.”
King Charles is expected to take things slowly, but is expected to quickly return to his usual workload.
