A young man armed with an ax was neutralized this morning (Monday) in Haifa, after running over a 20-year-old man and seriously injuring him.

Apparently, the suspect ran over the young man and then tried to hit bystanders with an ax, then neutralized.

The police commissioner is on his way to the scene of the attack.



The incident took place on Ya'akov Caspi Street in the Bat Galim neighborhood. The Rambam Hospital spokeswoman said that "a young man who was hit by a car in the Bat Galim neighborhood was brought in. He is now being treated and checked."
