A new and promising American destination is opening up to French travelers.
Starting Thursday, May 23, 2024, Air France is scheduling a direct connection from Paris to Phoenix, the capital and largest city in the state of Arizona.
Departing from Charles de Gaulle airport, three non-stop flights will be operated per week during the summer season, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (takeoff at 10:10 a.m.), in a Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner.
It will take eleven hours of flight.

Phoenix will thus become Air France's 17th destination in the United States, and the 24th in North America.

Road trip and Monument Valley
Enough to connect Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon and other major national parks of the American West in a few hours by road, or to take a segment of the legendary Route 66. But also to reach the neighboring state of Nevada and the dizzying Las Vegas, in just over an hour of flight and less than 500km by car.
In 2022, a little more than 50,000 French travelers visited Arizona, specifies the local Tourist Office, making France one of the three most important tourist markets for this state, with Germany and the Kingdom -United.
