Drunk driving, hit-and-run, resistance - this trip will be expensive for a 34-year-old from the district
Glonn - A 34-year-old woman from the Ebersberg district got behind the wheel of her car while under the influence of alcohol at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 27th and veered off the road to the right while driving in Haslach near Glonn.
This is reported by PI Ebersberg.
According to officials, she collided with a garden fence.
Both the garden fence and her vehicle were significantly damaged.
However, that didn't stop the woman from continuing her journey and leaving the scene of the accident without permission.
Only a tire burst brought their journey into battle to an abrupt end.
Attentive citizens reported the damaged vehicle and the drunk driver to the Ebersberg police.
Woman resists when blood is supposed to be taken
The officers found that the woman had a blood alcohol level of just under three per mille.
Because of the high value, a blood sample should be taken in the hospital.
However, the woman vehemently resisted the officers, which made this measure more difficult.
The woman is now awaiting criminal proceedings for endangering road traffic due to the influence of alcohol, for leaving the scene of an accident without permission and for resisting police officers.
In addition, her driver's license was confiscated.red
