Victoria jewelry store robbery in Petah Tikva/Walla system!
Two robberies of jewelry stores and an attempt at another store took place early Saturday morning by masked men in the cities of Petah Tikva and Tel Aviv.
The proximity of the times, which all took place in the early hours of the morning, raises the suspicion that these are members of an organized gang who planned the robberies together.
Investigators from the Petah Tikva and Lev Tel Aviv police began investigating the events.
Two of the robberies happened at the same time and lasted only a few minutes, during which the thieves took large amounts of jewelry and fled the scene.
"I received a phone call at 5:00 and flew to the store," repeated Shai Eitan who manages the "Eitan Jewelry" store together with his family members on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv.
"I got to the place and saw a lot of policemen and two shutters that broke them. The thieves broke the front door, broke the display case, emptied everything that was outside. In just a few minutes they emptied everything they could from the store. We lost half a million shekels worth of jewelry there."
"Fertile ground for thieves to break the glass and take whatever they can and run away within 5 minutes"/ Israel Police spokeswoman
The members of the Eitan family have been managing the jewelry store for 30 years, during which time they have already known 6 burglary incidents with extensive damage.
"I'm already completely discouraged," shared Eitan.
"I'm thinking of closing the business, I'm tired of all the break-ins."
Eli, Shay's brother added: "There is a problem on Allenby Street, there are a lot of renovations now and the whole street is closed to traffic, so the place is quite hidden. Just fertile ground for thieves to smash the bars, break the glass, take whatever they can and run away in 5 minutes." .
In the footage from the store's security cameras in Tel Aviv, two thieves can be seen coming to the door of the store and lifting the shutter with a magnifying glass.
In additional footage from the security camera of the "Victoria Jewelry" store on Haim Ozer Street in Petah Tikva, it is possible to identify three thieves arriving in a vehicle up to the entrance of the store, and while one of them connects a tow cable between the bars of the store to the vehicle, a second suspect is already taking out large bags that can be filled with valuable jewelry .

"They came with a car, connected cables to the electric shutter and just dismantled the whole store," said Mark who manages the store "Victoria Jewelry in Petah Tikva" that the cost of the stolen jewelry and the damage from the burglary to the store he owns is about one million shekels.
"They literally uprooted the beams from the wall, the electric shutter with the sign that fell off. It happened at ten to five in the morning, right next to the break-ins in the other two stores. In four minutes of violence, they dismantled a 30-year life's work."
Eli Eitan, whose family members run the family store in Tel Aviv, said that the store was not insured.
"The costs of insuring a jewelry store are crazy," said Eli Eitan.
"Jewelry stores are often robbed by burglars and my estimate is that about 80% of jewelry stores are uninsured. You say to yourself, okay, I'll invest this money in security and defenses and prevent the burglary. Now my dad is a real wreck. This was his life's work. And now within 5 minutes, everything went down the drain."
