There are around ten locations, an increase compared to last year, which this year will be the backdrop to "Between stage and city", the calendar of events organized by Rai Pubblicità with the Municipality of Sanremo with the aim of bringing the Festival in the square.
It starts on Saturday 3 February at 7pm with the switching on of the Suzuki Stage, the stage in Piazza Colombo with the show by the Urban Theory ensemble of dancers, followed by a show by DJ Massimo Alberti.
The inauguration of the 74th Italian Song Festival is expected on Sunday 4 February with a fireworks and musical show at the Porto Vecchio, to the tune of the songs that have made the history of Sanremo.
At the same time, a light and music show from the Costa Smeralda ship, which will remain in the harbor for the entire duration of the singing competition.
The green carpet is back, a three hundred meter long path that will cross the heart of the city, connecting the main event areas, starting with the Ariston.
It will be composed of a grassy surface and plants which will be transplanted into the city at the end of the event.
From Tuesday to Saturday (final evening) five artists will take turns on the stage in the square in connection with Ariston: Lazza, Rosa Chemical, Paola and Chiara, Arisa and Tananai.
Four artists will perform on the stage set up on board the ship for as many evenings, always live with the Ariston.
These are Tedua, Bob Sinclair, Bresh and Gigi D'Agostino.
This year too, one of the phenomena of these latest editions of the Festival, Fantasanremo, arrives in the city, present on the first floor of the Forte di Santa Tecla with a dedicated lounge room.
And also in Santa Tecla, a Rai exhibition with free entry is expected to celebrate one hundred years of radio and 70 years of television.
An opportunity to talk about the 74 years of the Festival: from 1951 to the present day.
The tourist train returns and the twenty-five meter high Ferris wheel opens free to the public.
The inauguration is expected on Monday 5 February, at 5pm and will be open every day of the festival week, from 11am to 6.30pm.
Furthermore, each sponsor will open its own location with games and animations.
