Away with the Celtic, away with the writings, and away with the afternoon march with the Roman greetings.
The council of the seventh municipality of Rome approves the resolution on Acca Larentia, voted by the Pd da Iv and the M5s.
While the center-right leaves the chamber.
After the controversy and complaints about the Roman greetings on the day of commemoration of Acca Larentia, the Seventh Municipality of Rome presses on the accelerator to change the rules on the demonstration that CasaPound carries out every year on January 7, on the day of commemoration of the three young people killed in front of the MSI section, also starting from the symbols.
And it does so with a resolution, first passed to the commission, then voted on this morning in the chamber, to eliminate the Celtic and the murals, designed in the area, and also prevent CasaPound, inviting mayor Gualtieri to speak with the prefecture in this sense , be allowed to carry out the afternoon parade which every year leads to controversy over the Roman greetings and the 'present'.
However, the act of the Dem majority was not welcomed by everyone.
In fact, Fratelli d'Italia first voted against in the commission and today, together with the League and the Forza Italia councilor who joined the mixed group a few months ago, decided to leave the room.
"It was no longer possible to have the Celtic one, as well as see the Roman greetings. The resolution on Acca Larentia passed with our votes and those of Italia Viva and the 5 Star Movement. It is very sad that the center-right left the room and that throughout the council session, he debased the discussion".
Fabrizio Grant, PD councilor and first signatory of the resolution together with his fellow Democrat Rosa Ferraro, told ANSA.
"They accused us of exploiting the dead while we have held institutional ceremonies to remember the victims and will continue to do so", underlines Grant who, speaking of the right-wing gesture, added: "For them it is an eternal return. They
exploit the matter.
We take responsibility for not having taken this step earlier, but theirs is a victimhood that has sincerely tired us. We govern the city and we take our responsibilities. They are in the national and regional government - he specifies -, if they let them take it too."
