A 56-year-old from Wolfratshausen was completely unfit to drive - and still got into the car.
Now she had to answer before the district court.
Wolfratshausen - The defendant didn't talk about it for long.
“It’s true, I’m sorry,” the Wolfratshauser woman agreed with the prosecutor’s very brief statements.
On September 10, 2023, the 56-year-old was checked by the police on the way home in Geretsried in the evening.
A stopover at Lake Bibisee was expensive for the 56-year-old from Wolfratshausen
Because the officers smelled alcohol, they ordered a blood test.
The result: The woman had an alcohol level of 1.18 per mille in her blood.
Because she had slightly exceeded the limit set by law for absolute inability to drive (1.1 per mille), she now had to answer before the district court in Wolfratshausen for negligent drunken driving.
You can read all the news from Wolfratshausen here.
The reason for her alcohol consumption: She met friends at Lake Bibisee, they went out to eat and had something to drink.
“Prosecco, wine spritzers, a schnapps,” she listed.
Then she set off on the approximately eight kilometer journey home.
“With very little traffic.”
Judge Helmut Berger sentenced the woman from Wolfratshausen to a fine of 45 daily rates of 45 euros each (2025 euros).
Since she took part in a fast-track trial (without witnesses, because the accusation was admitted and the facts were clear), she received a month's discount when her driving license was revoked and now has to wait another seven months until her driving license is given back to her.
