According to a recent survey, the AfD is losing support.

For the first time in a long time, the party is below 20 percent.

The FDP, on the other hand, continues to fall.

Berlin – The ongoing protests against the right-wing in Germany appear to be damaging the AfD.

In the current RTL/ntv trend barometer, the party (19 percent) lost another percentage point compared to the previous week and fell below the 20 percent mark for the first time since the end of July 2023.

In December, the party achieved poll numbers of up to 23 percent.

Below 20 percent again: survey setback for the AfD

The FDP and the Left also lost a percentage point, falling to 3 percent each.

Concern among the Liberals about remaining in the Bundestag has increased in recent months.

The Union (32 percent), the SPD (15 percent) and the other parties (8 percent) each gained one percentage point.

As in the previous week, the Greens have 14 percent, the Free Voters around party leader Hubert Aiwanger and the Sahra Wagenknecht alliance are unchanged at 3 percent.

The new party recently enjoyed strong poll numbers.
