The farmers in the district had actually planned to completely shut down the motorway entrances to the A 95 near Sindelsdorf and Seeshaupt on Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
But the police and district administration didn't play along - it was blocked, but to a lesser extent.
District
- After "very tough three-hour negotiations", as farmers' association district chairman Wolfgang Scholz and Ettings local chairman and meeting leader Hermann Karg announced early on Tuesday evening, it was at least achieved that the driveways near Sindelsdorf could be blocked several times for 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m , always with a 30 minute break in between.
“We can still live with that because we are the only ones in the area who are actually allowed to block a motorway entrance,” says Karg.
Tractors in commuter parking lot
An amicable solution was found to ensure the right to assemble at the registered event and at the same time comply with the police's forecast of danger with great care, said deputy district office spokesman Klaus Mergel.
In addition to the closures, the demonstrators are allowed to set up their vehicles in the commuter parking lot (west of the Sindelsdorf junction), on a community connection road near the commuter parking lot and in the former commuter parking lot (east).
Disruptions on the B472 are to be expected
A police vehicle and a tractor will each block the two entrances for 15 minutes; during the 30-minute break, access to the motorway can be accessed unhindered.
Exiting the motorway is possible at any time.
“Nevertheless, severe traffic disruptions on the B 472 are to be expected due to the arrival and departure of participants in the demonstration with their agricultural vehicles,” said Mergel.
It is therefore recommended to bypass the area extensively and use neighboring motorway junctions.
