Arnaud Quémard estimated this Tuesday morning that the blockages led to a 30 to 40% drop in traffic, with significant losses in revenue.
“This is a significant loss of income (…) These are also additional costs because, contrary to what farmers said about cleaning up after their passage, we find enormous quantities of debris on our highways, explains- he.
In Moselle, for example, we cleaned 76 semi-trailers of waste on the highway after the farmers had passed.
