Bosnia-Herzegovina: a French supremacist extradited from the country and imprisoned in Paris

Aged 36, Alexis Issaurat was wanted by the French authorities who were struggling to repatriate him to France despite a long-standing green light from the Bosnian authorities.


A Nice supremacist, Alexis Issaurat, extradited Monday from Bosnia-Herzegovina to Paris, was indicted the same day in four separate cases and imprisoned, the Paris prosecutor's office said on Tuesday, requested by AFP.

Aged 36, he was wanted by the French authorities who were struggling to repatriate him to France despite a long-standing green light from the Bosnian authorities.

He was arrested on site on December 27 in possession of weapons of war and was subject to an expulsion order from Bosnian territory and a ban on returning there, the prosecution said.

Monday evening, he was indicted regarding the four cases for which he was the subject of an arrest warrant and placed in pre-trial detention for two of them, according to the public prosecutor.

Several cases

The first case concerns anti-Semitic comments to the detriment of Mr. Z, due to his alleged involvement in the

“Balance ton anti-sémite”

website ;

the second of comments on Telegram calling in particular for

“racial war”

targeted by a complaint from the SOS Racisme association;

the third of the threats made against the former prosecutor of Nice, now prosecutor general of Nîmes, Xavier Bonhomme;

the fourth for death threats against a TikToker dating back to 2021. Alexis Issaurat was therefore indicted for numerous offenses, including public apology for crimes against humanity, aggravated death threats, public provocation not followed effect to commit willful harm to life, aggravated public insult, etc.

According to the prosecution, Mr. Issaurat is suspected of having targeted the Nice prosecutor because the latter had initiated several procedures and

“in particular an instruction which gave rise to the issuance of an arrest warrant against him for participation in a criminal organization, possession of a weapon, incitement to hatred

.

“then posted videos on YouTube explaining that he was going to commit a mass murder on French territory during 2019-2020

,” the prosecution further detailed.

In 2022, he told AFP that he had fought in Ukraine within the Azov battalion, which attracted many activists from the French far right,

“for seven, eight months”

in 2014-2015.

“I am nationalist, identitarian, pro-White and European, so I act in solidarity with the Ukrainian nationalists against Bolshevism, for the defense of Europe and the West

,” explained this already convicted man to AFP. on several occasions in France for violence, detention, trafficking and use of weapons.
