Peugeot announced this Tuesday that the ChatGPT conversational robot, equipped with generative artificial intelligence, will now be integrated “in all cars” of the manufacturer of the Stellantis group.
“We will introduce ChatGPT in all cars, including the new e-3008, and also small and compact utility vehicles,” said Jérôme Micheron, product director of the Peugeot brand, during a press conference call.
ChatGPT will allow you to respond to commands from Peugeot's in-house voice assistant.
“You just need to formulate your request orally for ChatGPT to respond in an enriched way,” indicates the manufacturer in a press release.

“Generative artificial intelligence can both offer answers to specific questions, for example telling you which monuments to visit in a city, presenting them to you and taking you there in coordination with the navigation system, but it can also, liven up your journey by interacting with the occupants, giving free rein to your creativity,” continues Peugeot.
The French will benefit from it
The French will be among the first to benefit, the country being one of the five pilot countries - with the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The feature will then be developed around the world over the course of the year.
Peugeot is not the first to want to integrate ChatGPT into its cars.
DS Automobiles has equipped its DS3, DS4, DS7 and DS9 sedans with it, just like Volkswagen.
