The fact that the climate stickers are now ending their road blockades is good news.

They have recently been a nuisance to many people and have therefore failed to achieve their goal of making citizens more aware of climate protection.

A comment by Georg Anastasiadis.

Now even the climate gluers are on strike in Germany!

The last generation is giving up their work in frustration because of their proven lack of success and prefers to leave the streets to the “anti-right demonstrators” who can hope for greater social support.

With their annoying actions, the doomsday prophets have achieved the opposite of what was desired: many German citizens are now really annoyed by the topic that they should actually be made aware of.

Your very personal tipping point has been passed.

Many citizens long for a return to moderation and the middle

They long - when it comes to climate protection, but not only there - to return to moderation and the middle instead of senseless blockades, stupid art attacks and cries of Armageddon.

In the future, the “last generation” no longer wants to harass defenseless commuters on the way to work, but instead wants to draw attention to their goals with – hopefully more original – “disobedient assemblies” at airports, pipelines and company premises or politicians and entrepreneurs in front of cameras to confront.

Their role models are the US activists from “Climate Defiance”.

It took long enough for the German climate rebels to notice that their protest was gradually taking on the characteristics of a class struggle from above against below: there is an ugly social imbalance when mostly young activists from well-off academic households accompany nurses and saleswomen on the way to their jobs the morning clogs the path.

One thing is already clear: the last generation will have to come up with more ideas in the future in the fight for the scarce resource of public attention.

The climate is important to people, but so is their livelihood and life in the here and now.

And finally, farmers, train drivers and anti-AfD marchers put on the more spectacular show.
