To start building your

, you will need:
30cm high wooden planks (eco-friendly cedar or pine are perfect choices for their durability and plant safety. Make sure they are not chemically treated);
Rust-resistant screws;
A drill ;
Tarpaulin or geotextile felt;
Gravel or clay balls (optional for drainage);
Fertile soil and compost.
Construction steps:
Prepare four boards of equal length for the sides of the square;
Cut four small corner posts to reinforce the corners;
Assemble the boards into a square shape and secure them to the corner posts with rust-resistant screws.
Use metal brackets for better stability;
Install a tarpaulin or geotextile felt inside the square to prevent the growth of weeds;
If necessary, add a layer of gravel or clay pebbles to the bottom to improve drainage;
Fill the square with a mixture of fertile potting soil and compost.
