The bush adventure for model Anya Elsner ended on the tenth day of the jungle camp.

Now she talks about her “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” time and what the mood was like in the camp.

Gold Coast - On Sunday, Anya Elsner (20) was flown out of the jungle camp - the ex-GNTM participant received the fewest votes from RTL viewers.

In an exclusive interview with

, the 20-year-old talks about her time in the Australian outback and addresses the question of why there is relatively little drama in the TV camp.

Harmony in the jungle camp: Roommates are like a little family for Anya

After reality TV stars Kim Virginia (28) and Leyla Lahouar (27) were warned not to just walk around in bikini bottoms, ex-national soccer player David Odonkor (39) quickly received a receipt for his words and had to leave the jungle camp.

However, the 39-year-old's request didn't cause any major drama in the camp itself - and there are relatively few squabbles in the camp (apart from the love affair between Mike Heiter (31) and Kim Virginia).

How can Anya Elsner explain the harmony in the jungle camp?

“I thought it would hit on day one, but I don't think we had any problems with hunger yet, we were all doing quite well.

I think we were all quite surprised that we were doing so well, we were like a little family on a school trip.

“That was really nice,” the Berliner told

“I am a star – get me out of here!” and “Tatort” in the ratings duel

At the start of the second IBES week, the Saarbrücken “Tatort” and the jungle camp fought an exciting ratings duel on Sunday (January 28, 2024).

The ZDF crime drama emerges as the winner from the battle with 9.05 million viewers tuned in.

But RTL doesn't have to bury its head in the sand: in the advertising-relevant target group between 14 and 49 years old, “I'm a star - get me out of here!” won with 1.77 million viewers.

Self-inflicted tears: Anya struggled with herself in the jungle camp

The model still had to shed a few tears every now and then in the jungle camp.

“I was a bit underwhelmed the whole time in camp.

And then I became team boss and suddenly I had so many tasks and it was such a quick change,” says Anya Elsner about her role as jungle camp captain.

In the end, the former GNTM candidate can be proud of herself, even if she would have liked to show more of herself.

She is still very happy to have taken part in the RTL show, among other things because Anya Elsner lost several kilos in the jungle camp.
