Camilla's sister Annabel has spilled the beans, which often leads to explosive moments in private between King Charles and his wife.
It's a classic.
London – How the relationship between King Charles III.
(75) and Queen Camilla (76) look like when the palace doors have closed and they have retired to their private rooms at Clarence House, only a very limited circle of people know.
One of them is Camilla's younger sister, Annabel Elliot (74), who gave a rare insight into the relationship between the head of Britain and his great love.
Even with King Charles and Queen Camilla, sparks are flying when it comes to their favorite ongoing point of contention
Apparently there are also petty disputes between the king and queen, such as over the famous closed or left open toothpaste tube.
Ellito chatted to royal author Robert Hardman (59) and reported on the topic that always causes controversy for Camilla and her husband King Charles.
Charles and Camilla share a love of take-away food and are otherwise very understanding of each other's little quirks.
So the queen remains equanimous even when her husband Charles freaks out because the pen is leaking.
Charles, on the other hand, only smiles mildly when Camilla fumbles with her hair at the coronation or can't immediately find her way from the car into the building.
That's just enough for trivial teasing, after all, the two have known each other forever.
It's not just Queen Camilla who gets the chills from King Charles's preference for open windows
Julian Payne worked as communications minister for King Charles and Camilla for five years and then sang about it in the Sunday Times: “The King always has his windows wide open.
A meeting at Birkhall, his home in the Highlands, in the middle of winter was not for the faint of heart,” he says.
It was hard: “I can remember more than one occasion when I thought I had actually gotten frostbite while trying to write with a hand I could no longer feel.”
During Charles III.
is a fresh air fanatic, Queen Camilla prefers it warm and cozy
But the “window saga” is over, reveals Annabel according to hellomagazin.com.
While King Charles "compulsively opens the windows", Camilla prefers it warm and cozy.
“There is a constant argument about this,” reports the British Intarior designer, giving an example of the usual banter: “He must have opened a window.
She will then sneak up and close it.
So there's a lot of, 'Oh, darling, you closed the window.'
'Yes, I did, because we're all freezing.'"

The couple's strategy for reconciliation is also reflected in Robert Hardman's work: “Charles III: New King.
New Court. The Inside Story.” submitted.
“If the king usually wins on this front,” says his sister-in-law, “Queen Camilla wins on most other things.”
Camilla finally knew what she was getting into: A lifelong environmentalist, Charles regularly tries to achieve net-zero emissions at Buckingham Palace and has even lowered the temperatures in the royal residence's secret swimming pool to further reduce energy consumption.
