The farmers' protest on the A95 will only take place to a limited extent on Wednesday.

Peter Fichtner from the farmers' association is dissatisfied.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – The next round of farmers’ protests is underway.

On Tuesday, the Bavarian Farmers' Association (BBV) announced that it wanted to block motorway entrances "throughout Bavaria" this Wednesday.

And while traffic in the districts of Munich and Fürstenfeldbruck will come to a major standstill tomorrow, drivers in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen have little to fear from disruption.

The district office did approve a protest - but not to the extent that Peter Fichtner, district chairman of the (BBV) in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, had planned.

“We already had the big 'okay' from the Interior Ministry,” explained Fichtner on Tuesday.

“Across Bavaria,” farmers should block highway entrances with their tractors and thus draw attention to their demands.

In the Munich district, for example, this affects “all 16 motorway entrances”.

Ultimately, according to Fichtner, the approvals are all “case-by-case decisions”.

Each district office can make its own decision about approving a blockade.

On Tuesday afternoon there was a message from the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district office: They had agreed to a protest on the topic “For the retention of agricultural diesel”.

However, this is limited to a meeting on the B11a motorway access road.

Halfway up the A95, farmers are allowed to demonstrate on the separate parking strip.

“Traffic must not be blocked.”

By the way: Everything from the region is also available in our regular Wolfratshausen-Geretsried newsletter.

The district authority under District Administrator Josef Niedermaier (Free Voters) justifies this decision with a “risk assessment by the police”.

At the time of going to press, 15 vehicles were registered and their drivers were allowed to present their demands on the parking lane from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to the authority, the permitted speed will be reduced.

BBV man Fichtner is dissatisfied.

On the one hand, he criticizes the late approval by the office.

“We farmers do not stand ready in a barracks and come shooting out on command.” On the other hand, the district authorities did not approve a blockade - despite the approval of the Interior Ministry.

“The district office definitely used its discretion.” jg
