On video: Netanyahu's trial - the testimony of Harel Locker, director general of the former Prime Minister's Office/Roni Knafo
As part of the cross-examination of businessman Ilan Shiloh who is testifying in case 1000, the judges stopped the hearing today (Tuesday).
This is due to the fact that Attorney Amit Hadad, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's defense attorney, started asking the witness questions about File 4000.
Hadad asked Shiloh about an article he asked the former CEO of Walla to be in the main headline of the site.
At this point, Attorney Alon Gildin from the prosecutor's office objected to the question, arguing that it was not related to case 1000, but to case 4000. In response, Hadad replied that he wanted to "ask this question in relation to the credibility of the witness." For this, the judges told him that they would not allow him to ask the question
. Shahdad insisted on this, the judges looked at the indictment, and then pointed out to him that "it is related to the subject we said not to ask." When Shahdad insisted on this with shouts, Judge Friedman Feldman decided to stop the hearing, and the judges left the courtroom.
