At around 10.45 p.m. the police received a message that a man was shouting, throwing insults, hitting traffic signs, apparently being very aggressive and holding a knife in his hand.
By the time the patrol arrived on site, the man from Peitingen had hit a Peißenberg woman in the stomach with a beer bottle;
The 18-year-old apparently suffered no injuries.
The officers took him to the ground, handcuffed him and took him into custody.
But the flood of insults towards the police did not stop either.
The man blocked himself and offered passive resistance.
His knife was confiscated.
The 63-year-old was taken to the Schongau police station's custody cell, where he sobered up overnight and was released in the morning.
Criminal proceedings were initiated against him for insults, grievous bodily harm and resistance to law enforcement officers.
