- A family from Waakirchen's Sunday outing suddenly escalated last weekend.

On the footpath and cycle path towards Schaftlach, a speeding driver of an e-scooter overtook them, who later came towards them again at a high speed.
E-scooter driver hits child and then flees
The 7-year-old boy in the family is said to have called out to the driver “if it’s still okay”.
According to the police report, the young man then turned around on his e-scooter, insulted the 7-year-old from Waakirchner and hit him on the head with the flat of his hand.
When the parents, completely perplexed, tried to intervene, the man fled.
The police are now asking for information.
The 7-year-old's father estimates the driver of the e-scooter to be 17 to 22 years old, around 185 centimeters tall with a normal build.
He was wearing a shiny black winter jacket with white lettering and blue loose jeans.
He also had short blonde hair and no beard.
Anyone who can provide information about the perpetrator is asked to contact the Bad Wiessee police on 08022/98780.
